Jalen Saunders's Player Profile

I suggest in today's NFL, players like Jalen Saunders have their own category. "Weapon" Saunders is not a top 10 W.R. but he is no later than late 2rd round pick as a weapons for any team looking for a Return Man/Slot/Receiver/Runner. Jalen Saunders caught five passes for 39 yards and the game winning touchdown in the Sooners 33-24 win over Oklahoma State. He had 49 yards on the ground & a TD punt return.

Jalen Saunders passes the "NFL Eye Test". Just watch his 5 minute highlight video. True he is only 5' '9" & 160 lbs but he is both quick & fast. He is also smart & he has the X FACTOR it will take him to overcome his size.

It should be interesting to see how he fairs vs. Bama but never the less. everybody needs a Dexter McCluster, DeSean Jackson, Tavon Auston or Cordell Patterson type player.

Saunders might be the best weapon in this class along with Oregon's De'Anthony Thomas. This Oklahoma Sooner will be a 2nd or 3rd round steal for the team who needs a player who strikes fear in defenses every time he touches the ball. If he lasts that long.
