Ryan Kerrigan's Player Profile

Was named the 2010 Defensive Player of the Year and Big Ten Lineman of the Year. He recorded 70 tackles, 26 TFL, 12.5 sacks and 5 forced fumbles this past year. As a Junior he started all 12 games with 66 tackles, 18.5 TFL, 13 sacks and 7 forced fumbles. Kerrigan started 11 of 12 games as a sophomore, making 56 tackles, 11.5 TFL, and 7 sacks.

Has leadership qualities, and a strong work ethic. Not the greatest athlete but he brings it all the time. He’s a relentless pass rusher. Doesn’t have the great speed, but has good lateral movement. A solid tackler, plays with an attitude.

May not be suited for a 3-4 scheme, doesn’t have the greatest speed. He broke his foot in 2009 and sprains his ankle in 2008.
