Blaine Gabbert's Player Profile

Gabbert’s numbers took a dip from last year, but his stock continued to rise to a possible 1st overall. He threw for 3,186 yards and 16 TDs at Missouri this past season. Last year he threw for 3,593 yards and 24 TDs on 262 of 455 passing.

Has NFL size at 6’5” and 235 pounds and is able to move around well. Has very good arm strength with a a quick delivery. Is able to move around the pocket well and get off accurate throws. Has trouble with the deep ball on occasion. He’s tough to bring down in the pocket. Has shown good decision making and leadership qualities, and is an excellent student.

Gabbert has only started for 2 years and needs to gain more experience under center. He needs to work on handling the pass rush, and continue to cut down on risky throws.
