In his Junior year he completed 61.6% (199 of 323) of his passes for 2,756 yards, 23 TDs, and 8 INTs. In 2008 he completed 59.3% (182 of 307) of his passes for 2,242 yards, 11 TDs, and 5 INTs. As a RS Freshman he started 12 of 13 games, completing 59.8% (222 of 371) of his passes for 2,459 yards, 10 TDs and 11 INTs. In 413 career carries Dalton has compiled 1,611 yards and 22 TDs.Dalton has quietly worked his way into possibly a 1st or 2nd round draft selection. He has good arm strength with an accurate touch. He has a quick release, and makes good decisions. Has lots of starting experience, a hard worker, and is a leader. A good scrambler, is able to keep his eyes downfield, and able to throw on the adequately.
Isn’t the best athlete and is on the shorter side. His mechanics still need some polishing. Footwork is only average.
