Navorro Bowman's Player Profile

Navarro was redshirted in 2006. In 2007 he got in to 9 games, recording 16 tackles and 1 sack. The following season he made 10 of 13 starts, earning First-team All-Big Ten, after making 106 tackles (16.5 for a loss), 4 sacks and 1 INT. This past season in 11 games, he had 93 total tackles (52 solo), with 17 of them for a loss. Bowman had 3 sacks, and picked off 2 passes for a total of 86 yards.

Bowman has excellent speed and range. Good reaction to ball, can change direction quickly, and takes good angles. Good tackler. Above average in both coverage and against the run.

Has had some off-field issues, off-campus fight in 2007 and place on probation, which he violated. A bit undersized, has a narrow frame.
