Joe Haden's Player Profile

Haden became the first Florida Gator cornerback to start opening as a true freshman. He started all 12 games as freshman, recording 63 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, 12 pass break-ups, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 interception. As a sophomore he started all 14 games, recording 87 tackles, 1 forced fumble and fumble recovery, and 3 interceptions (1 in which he returned 88 yards.

Part way through the season, he’s rated the top cornerback that could enter the draft. Haden is on the smaller side at 5’11” and around 180 pounds. Has good instincts and is able to read plays well. Has excellent speed and can run with most receivers.
