Earl Thomas's Player Profile

The fact that Thomas is a red-shirt sophomore and remains in the shadows of the higher-profile defensive backs Eric Berry and Taylor Mays is probably why he remains somewhat underrated. Should he decide to stay in Austin next year he’d be the top DB for the 2011 draft.

Thomas proved enough this season he’s got the playmaking ability to suit up on Sunday’s. His 8 interceptions this year were good for second in the country—and two of those were pick sixes.
