Dez Bryant's Player Profile

During Bryant’s freshman year in 2007, he caught 43 passes for 622 yards and 6 touchdowns. Bryant broke out in 2008, grabbing 87 passes for 1,480 yards and 19 TDs, and had 2 punt return TDs. He started off his Junior season right were he left off, 17 receptions for 323 yards and 4 receiving TDs (1 punt return TD) in 3 games. But in early October, Bryant was ruled ineligible for violating NCAA bylaws. Even if he doesn’t play another game this season, it may not hurt his stock as the top WR in the draft.

Bryant has the tools to be a solid NFL receiver. He has good size and athletic ability. Has excellent hands, and is not an easy tackle. Special team option as he’s a solid punt returner. He doesn’t possess great speed and his route running needs improving.
