Redshirted as a tight end freshman in ’05, and switched to a lineman part way through the season. Played mainly on special teams in ’06, but had 4 games of limited action at tackle. Played in 9 games as a sophomore at tackle and on special teams. Brown has been the starting left tackle for USC the past 2 seasons, earning All-Pac-10 honorable mention as a Junior.At 6’6” and 285 pounds, he has the height, but needs to add bulk and strength to excel at the next level. Shows good agility, footwork, and punch off of the line. Has the awareness to pick up blitzes and stunts. Gets overpowered and out of position at times.
