Jeremy Maclin's Player ProfileMissed the 2006 season with a knee injury. Bounced back in 2007 with a 80 receptions, 1,055 yards and 9 TD catches. He also racked up 375 rushing yards (51 carriers) and 1,346 total return yards, setting a NCAA Freshman record with 2,776 all-purpose yards. In his sophomore season, his rushing and return yards dipped slightly (293 and 1,280) but he caught more passes (102) for 1,260 yards.
Maclin is about speed, should run around a 4.3 40 at the combine. Has quick acceleration and doesn’t take long to reach top speed. His stats show his versatility in receiving, rushing, and returning.
Not the biggest receiver at 6’1 and 200, but he’s about the speed. With on playing 2 season in college, he still has some learning to do, mainly his routes. Always concern when it comes to a prior torn ACL and with a guy who depends on his speed.
