Everette Brown's Player Profile

Brown earned 1st Team All-ACC and was the runner up for the ACC Defensive Player of the Year this past season. He recorded 13.5 sacks, 21.5 tackles for loss and 4 forced fumbles in this year, improving on his 6.5 sacks and 11.5 TFL sophomore season. One of the top Defensive Ends in the draft, possibly the best.

Has an excellent burst off the line. A bit undersized but his athleticism makes up for it. Has the ability to react quickly when he sees an opening or if he reads the play wrong. Quick feet and good closing speed. Suited for a 3-4 defense or a possible move to Outside Linebacker. The video below is a must watch to see Brown’s talents.

Better against the pass rush than against the run. May focus on stripping the ball too much rather than making the sack/tackle. Will teams with 4-3 defense pass on him, limiting him to only 3-4’s? Will his draft position be affected by this.
