Andre Smith's Player Profile

It’s possible the Smith returns for his senior year, but this junior could be top offensive tackle in this year draft, and potentially the top pick. He has started every game is his 3 year college career at Left Tackle. Smith was named to the All-SEC First Team as voted by the head coaches.

Despite being around 340 pounds, Smith is light on his feet with good lateral movement. Has excellent agility and quickness, a natural athlete. An excellent run blocker, is able to get down the field creating holes. Smith is also a good in pass protection, quick feet with good body positioning.

One issue that keeps popping up with Smith is his weight and height. His weight has fluctuated at times, getting up to 350, which might be too much for an LT. He’s also be may be too short (6’ 4”) for LT in the NFL.
