Positives: Has everything you look for physically in a right tackle. Tall, well-built, long arms, big and strong hands. Aggressive player with a killer instinct. Negates the bull rush in pass protection. Exceptional run blocker who looks dominant in this area at times. Can get to the 2nd level. Hard worker with the desire to succeed. Has the natural tools to be an outstanding pass protector, but...

Negatives: Struggles in pass protection. Has loads of trouble with quick edge rushers. Footwork is poor, does not get out of his stance quickly enough. Powerful but sloppy hand-punch. Inconsistent finishing his blocks while in motion. Has mental lapses and will miss assignments. Gets flagged for false starts too often.

Outlook: Must improve his pass blocking technique. Coachablility and work ethic are promising. Criticisms might be undeserved somewhat due to Boston College's pass-happy offense. Certainly has all the tools you look for and comes from one of the best programs in the nation at producing NFL caliber offensive linemen. He projects solely as a right tackle. Intriguing player.
