Dan ConnorHt/Wt: 6-3/225 lbs
School: Penn State
Dan Connor's Player ProfilePositives: Highly intelligent football player who wants to succeed. A tackling machine. Aggressive and displays proper tackling technique. Has sideline to sideline range. Fills the lanes quickly and isn't afraid to lower his head. Very good in short-area coverage. The type who will sniff out screens, draws and trick plays. Can align the front seven.
Negatives: Gets engulfed by big blockers. Uses positioning well to compensate, but lacks fluidity. Not particularly strong.
Outlook: Similar game to New England Patriots linebacker Tedi Bruschi, Connor is lacking a bit athletically but more than makes up for it with his aggression and instincts. In a 4-3 scheme he should be able to rack up 100+ tackles a season. Should go on to have a highly productive NFL career. The type of player you win championships with.
