Chris Cole's Player Profile

Chris Cole is an exceptionally athletic linebacker prospect whose combination of size, speed, and versatility makes him an ideal fit for modern NFL defenses. At approximately 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, Cole possesses the length and explosiveness to impact games as both a traditional linebacker and an occasional edge rusher. His outstanding range allows him to pursue ball carriers from sideline to sideline, while his fluid movement skills make him particularly effective in pass coverage. Cole can match up against tight ends, carry receivers through intermediate zones, and close quickly on underneath passes. His athleticism also makes him dangerous as a blitzer, where he can exploit gaps before offensive linemen react. He must continue refining his instincts against misdirection and improving his ability to disengage from larger blockers. With his rare movement skills and positional versatility, Cole projects as a potential three-down NFL linebacker with considerable upside.
