Keldric Faulk's Player Profile
Keldric Faulk is a physically imposing, power?oriented edge defender whose game is built on leverage, heavy hands, and a relentless motor that lets him win both as a pass?rusher and a run?setting presence. He uses his compact frame and strong base to drive into linemen, anchor against the run, and convert short areas into productive plays, while also showing enough burst and technique to threaten the quarterback around the edge with a mix of bull?rush, rip, and counter?moves. His ability to set the point of attack, stay disciplined in his gap, and still twitch back to the quarterback gives him appeal as a multi?down edge defender, especially in 4?3 or hybrid fronts that value toughness and positional control.Strengths: His biggest strengths are his strength and leverage at the point of attack and his ability to impose his power against tackles, which makes him a reliable early?down defender who can also generate pressure in obvious passing situations.
Weaknesses: His biggest weaknesses are his relatively limited length and bend for a pure edge, which can make him susceptible to quicker, longer tackles who can keep him from fully extending into the pocket, and his occasional tendency to overspeed and lose balance when he over?commits to a single rush move.
Mel Kiper - ESPN - January 21st: "If you could draw up the perfect NFL 4-3 defensive end, it would be Faulk. He's what I call an "LTPer" -- someone who looks the part. He can win with outside and inside moves, and he moves blockers with his super powerful hands."
Walt - Walter Football- January 20th: "Keldric Faulk has been a monster for Auburn. He has a great mix of power and speed on the edge."
Gordon McGinness - PFF - January 19th: "Faulk garnered an 85.5 PFF run-defense grade in 2025 and can line up all along the defensive front."
Josh Edwards - CBS Sports - January 19th: "Keldric Faulk is a long, powerful pass rusher who does not turn 21 until the beginning of the 2026 season."
NFL Draft Buzz- January: "Faulk fits the bill of a true defensive cornerstone capable of transforming a front seven from day one. His exceptional blend of size, power, and surprising movement skills will make him a coveted prospect for teams running hybrid fronts that emphasize versatility along the defensive line."
