Dani Dennis-Sutton's Player Profile

Dani Dennis?Sutton is a powerful, physical edge defender whose profile is built on length, power, and the ability to attack the quarterback from wide alignments along the line. He wins with a low?pad, physical frame, strong hands, and a violent motor that allow him to turn the corner, stay in the quarterback’s lap, and convert speed into power without losing leverage. His ability to set the edge, control tackles, and still flash penetration in the backfield makes him a natural fit for 4?3 and hybrid fronts that want a three?down edge defender rather than a pure speed?rush specialist.

Strengths: His biggest strengths are his length and physicality around the edge, which allow him to control the line of scrimmage and beat tackles with power, and his motor and ability to sustain pressure, which make him a disruptive presence even on reps where he does not finish with a sack.

Weaknesses: His biggest weaknesses are his relatively limited bend and pure speed, which can make it harder for him to fully turn the corner against lighter, more athletic tackles, and his need for more refined pass?rush counters, as he can get stuck in one move and become predictable when he does not fully vary his plan mid?rep.
