Caleb Banks
Ht/Wt:6' 6"/329 lbs
Position: DL
School: Florida
Class: RS Senior

Caleb Banks's Player Profile

Caleb Banks is a physical, hand?heavy defensive lineman whose profile is built on power, length, and the ability to control the line of scrimmage in both the run and pass game. At Florida, he used his strong frame and long arms to anchor and win one?on?ones, collapsing pockets and shedding blocks with a nonstop motor. His ability to play multiple alignments across the interior and occasionally slide to a 5?tech spot gives him scheme flexibility for teams that want an interior thumper with rotational upside.

Strengths: His biggest strengths are his power and ability to control the line of scrimmage, which make him a reliable early?down interior defender, and his hand usage and motor, which allow him to win consistently in the trenches and still flash penetration in the backfield.

Weaknesses: His biggest weaknesses are his limited lateral quickness and change?of?direction ability, which can make it harder for him to stay in front of quicker, more agile interior linemen, and his need for more refined technique to avoid getting high or losing leverage when blockers gain position.

Gordon McGinness - PFF - January 19th: "Banks missed most of the 2025 season but flashed as a pass rusher toward the end of the 2024 campaign, with 17 pressures on 92 pass-rushing snaps in the final three games of the year."

NFL Draft Buzz- January: "The tape tells a story of tantalizing flashes undermined by technical inconsistencies. When Banks gets loose in the backfield, he moves with shocking fluidity for a 325-pounder, collapsing pockets and disrupting timing. Yet those moments of brilliance remain intermittent rather than the norm."
