Sherman Stewart
Ht/Wt:6' 5"/267 lbs
Position: EDGE
School: Texas A&M
Class: Junior

Sherman Stewart's Player Profile

John Kosko - PFF - March 17th: "There are questions about his game stemming from a lack of college production: just six career sacks and a career-high 79.5 PFF overall grade in 2024. The hope is that Texas A&M's scheme limited his potential and he will develop his immense athleticism into a productive pass-rush toolbox in the NFL."

Dante Lee - The Ringers - March 16th.: "Stewart is more than a pure pass rusher and has proven his production in the run game, using his quick first step and length to be a disruptor in the backfield. He’s a high-motor player, and there are several clips of him chasing plays far out of what should be in the range of pursuit for most defensive linemen."

Mel Kiper - ESPN - March 16th: "Stewart is still a little raw and inconsistent as a pass rusher, but his physical traits are off the charts. He has quickness and power, and he's going to continue developing. And his scheme versatility is a bonus."

Jordan Reid - ESPN - Mar. 16th: "Stewart had only 4.5 sacks in three seasons, but his time to first pressure this past season (2.43 seconds) was No. 1 in the FBS. He is a toolsy prospect who has rushed off the edge and inside and could be a better pro than college player."

Ryan Fowler - The Draft Network - March 16th: "Lack of sack production continues to be the knock on Shemar Stewart’s game, but a deeper dive into A&M’s defensive scheme shows that the Aggies asked Stewart to stop the run first, not to pin his ears back as an explosive 5-technique."

Danny Kelly - The Ringer - March 5th: "He threatens the edge with his burst and frequently counters with a powerful bull rush—administering a long-arm-stab move to strike and lift opponents onto their heels and push them back into the pocket. He’s an active hand fighter who constantly rips and clubs and swipes away opponents’ arms to get off blocks."
