Nic Scourton
Ht/Wt:6' 3"/257 lbs
Position: EDGE
School: Texas A&M
Class: Junior

Nic Scourton's Player Profile

John Kosko - PFF - March 17th: "Don’t let his “lack” of production fool you, as Texas A&M's scheme didn’t provide him with many true pass rushes. He still won 17.1% of his reps in 2024 after a stellar 2023 where he was one of the best in the nation (21.3%)."

Dante Lee - The Ringers - March 16th.: "As a pass rusher, Scourton is an effective bull rusher who uses his hands and leverage well, but there are times when you wish he’d apply more power to his rushes like he does in the run game. Scourton is a high-floor prospect."

Jordan Reid - ESPN - Mar. 16th: "His sturdy frame allows him to overpower tackles, but he can change the pace, most notably with a creative spin move. His frame allows him to rush from the interior and create mismatches against guards."

Ryan Fowler - The Draft Network - March 16th: "As previously mentioned with Shemar Stewart up top, Nic Scourton was asked to be a run-stopping edge this fall, not a pin-your-ears-back-and-pursue type of pass rusher."

Danny Kelly - The Ringer - March 5th: "A transfer to Texas A&M from Purdue, he’s a high-energy rusher who attacks the hands of opponents, chopping and punching and swiping away at blocks to keep himself clean. He has an effective club move and loves to mix in his spin move, which consistently leaves offensive tackles lunging."
