Position: EDGE
School: Penn State
Class: Junior

Abdul Carter's Player Profile

Chris Trapasso - CBS Sports - September 2nd: "Carter, every once in a while, looks like Micah Parsons on the field at Penn State. Big, long, ferocious, hyper-athletic, and he can align in a two-point stance and rush the passer from the outside."

Mike Renner - CBS Sports - September 2nd: "Carter was a tough man to pin down in his very first start on the edge for the Nittany Lions after switching from off-ball linebacker. His elite short-area quicks were on full display against a future NFL offensive lineman in West Virginia's Wyatt Milum."

Jaime Eisner - The Draft Network - September 1st: "While I won't put the "Micah Parsons" label on Abdul Carter, he has high-end pass-rush upside and the versatility to play multiple spots on the second level. There's a pathway this season for him to earn the top overall spot."

Field Yates - ESPN - August 21st: "Carter has great physical traits, and he will move to defensive end on a full-time basis this season after largely playing at linebacker at Penn State so far. He finished last season with 4.5 sacks, 60 tackles and 22 pressures."
