Rome Odunze's Player Profile

Chris Burke - The Athletic - August 24th: "Between Odunze’s size and downfield ability, you don’t have to squint to see why he’ll be on NFL boards. He has an advanced knack for body control and tracking the ball. Playing with the dual-threat Penix also allowed Odunze to show off his feel for finding holes in the defense on extended plays."

Matt Miller - ESPN - August 24th: "Odunze caught 75 passes for 1,145 yards and seven scores in 2022 and opted to return to Washington for his senior year. He runs his routes with strength, excellent timing and great body control, and I could see him rising into WR2 territory (behind Marvin Harrison Jr.) by season's end."

Charlie Campbell - Walter Football - August 20th: "With Michael Penix at quarterback in 2022, Odunze (6-3, 201) broke out for Washington, recording 75 receptions for 1,145 yards and seven touchdowns. Odunze has quality size. If he shows the speed to separate against NFL cornerbacks, he could be a riser for the 2024 NFL Draft."

Ian Cummings - Pro Football Network - July 25th: "Fresh off a 75-catch, 1,145-yard, seven-touchdown season, the 6’3?, 201-pound receiver is a true complete three-level threat. He’s a smooth athlete and separator, an instinctive contested-catch savant, and an elusive, slippery RAC threat."
